CSS: How I (should) Name My Classes

When I began to learn how to code I was taught that naming your CSS classes properly is important, super important. You want your naming to…be clear and consistent, at the time, that meant describing your element. So your logo element will naturally have the class .logo etc etc. Meaning your CSS would look something like: ¶ This makes things clear if you’re reading just the CSS file, you can see what elements require what rules but this kind of naming means that there’s a lot of repetition, which means you’re bulking up your CSS file unncessarily and slowing down loading speed.
